PROTON SATRIA SUPER 1600 KIT
Designed by John Beattie and used by MATTS ANDERSON and CLAIRE MOLE in the 2000 British Rally Championship in Class A6, class winners in this year. With no budget to speak of we started development of this engine in 1997 in GPA and GPN and achieved wins in the RAC two years on the trot, with a memorable 9th overall on the MANX National and FIRST in 1600 class with GEOFF JONES at the wheel and MATTS ANDERSON 13th overall 2nd in class. STUART JONES currently has one of our units in his PROTON SATRIA and goes very quickly. CARL TUER runs his car in the Northern Championships with one of our units. Unfortunately due to lack of support from the works, the car was not homologated to continue into the New Millenium. At the moment we are developing a 1400 PROTON engine to be used by NEVILLE JONES in the Rally series next year
